Sham Shui Po DX Design Gallery | Urban Yarns Reinterpreting The Through Touch, Thread, and Time.

Description
The exhibition will be held at the former DX Design Gallery from 12 September to 29 November, using yarn as a creative medium to lead visitors on a journey through Hong Kong's transformation from a design, cultural and architectural perspective.
Riding on the vibrant local cultural and creative scene in recent years, the Urban Narratives — Knitted Impressions exhibition aims to deepen the connection between the public and local cultural heritage. It reinterprets traditional knitting crafts and everyday textures through contemporary design, drawing inspiration from Hong Kong's once-thriving textile industry and reflecting on the city's metamorphosis. The exhibition also invites visitors to rediscover the possibilities of design in their daily lives and collectively weave the stories of this city.
The exhibition brings together interactive installations, collaborative creations and innovative textile works, connecting the past and present with every stitch and blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design to weave a shared vision for the future.
